equinux has released MediaCentral 2.3.1

Enhancements in TV module and overall user experience

Munich (Germany) / San Mateo, CA (USA) − October 05, 2006:
MediaCentral 2.3.1, equinux' media center solution, comes up with an enhanced TV module combining greater stability as well as a more fluid TV reception.
Usability also was an issue in this maintenance release. Users enjoying the application in full screen mode now have got the possibility to display the menu bar by simply moving the mouse.
To round things up the manual has been expanded. It contains a detailed instruction of how to create radio or IP TV playlists, like M3U, PLS, ASX, and RAM. This allows to easily add favorite radio or IP TV streams to MediaCentral by using the "My MediaCentral" folder concept.

This maintenance release is free for all existing MediaCentral 2.x users. More information and a free trial version of MediaCentral and all its features can be found on the equinux website. Purchases of MediaCentral can be made at the equinux online store or at one of equinux' authorized resellers.
