Securing your information
VPN Tracker is the safest and most secure VPN Client in existence. Here are just some of the numerous security features that VPN Tracker has to offer.
One password for VPN and all your services. VPN Tracker supports XAUTH (extended authentication) to authenticate against a central password server, thus delivering a single sign-on solution. This presents an ideal solution for larger VPN scenarios and makes VPN Tracker even more compatible with different VPN gateways. You can even save your XAUTH credentials in Mac OS X own built-in keychain system.
VPN Tracker supports SecurID, a two-factor authentication that is based on something you know (a password or PIN) and something you have (a small device, called a token). The token generates a one-time password that grants access to the VPN in combination with your password. This provides additional security whereby only authorized users gain access to files and applications.
Besides RSA SecurID, VPN Tracker also supports CRYPTOCard and ActivCard.
We know how important security is and we know the value of good performance. Typically when using Higher bit encryption methods, users experience a lag in performance. We have engineered VPN Tracker in such a way that there is virtually no difference in performance when running AES-128 and AES-256. VPN Tracker is not only compatible with AES but also a variety of other encryption algorithms:

With the support of certificate-based authentication, VPN Tracker assures a highly scalable encryption system for greater identity protection in large-scale deployments while also providing a safe method of distributing public keys.
VPN Tracker’s digital cryptology provides full scale Certification Authority (CA) services, including RSA keys and X.509 certificates for device authentication. Responses can be made to certificate-signing requests in PEM and DER format while existing certificates can be imported in PKCS#12 format. VPN Tracker is compatible with internal and external Certification Authorities (CAs).
To make it easy to manage the daunting number of passwords and permissions intrinsic to network computing, Mac OS X includes a Keychain. The Keychain stores all your information to use encrypted disk images and to log onto file servers, FTP servers and Web servers.
VPN Tracker supports Apple's built-in Keychain system. A password has to be entered only once and can then be saved within the Keychain. That makes it easy for you to manage multiple VPN connection and passwords.
