VPN Tracker is based on the industry standard IPsec protocol suite. This means that it will work with almost all devices supporting IPsec-based VPN connections (please see this FAQ regarding PPTP/L2TP/SSL VPN).
A list of tested devices is available in VPN Tracker and on our website:
What if my device is not on this list?
A device profile is just a shortcut. There are hundreds of VPN devices available on the market, and we'd love to offer device profiles for all of them. Unfortunately, it is impossible to test all devices. If your gateway is not in the list, we suggest you download our free 30-day demo version and conduct your own interoperability testing:
If your device is very similar to a device whose profile is available in VPN Tracker, try basing your connection on that device. Otherwise, base your connection upon a "Custom Connection" device profile to get access to all possible configuration options.
Please note: We cannot guarantee that a connection can be established from a specific Internet connection to a specific VPN gateway (regardless whether this device is listed on our website or not). There are several factors which can affect VPN connections (such as closed ports / lack of IPSec VPN support on firewalls between tunnel endpoints, etc.). In most cases, though, issues can be solved by modifying the configuration.
