Student Internship IT In­fra­structure & Cloud in Karlsfeld/Munich

This internship is aimed at students who are required to complete one or more mandatory internships as part of their bachelor's / master's degree. It is aimed in particular at students of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Engineering.

Your role


After a long period of using well-known public cloud infrastructure such as Amazon AWS and Heroku, we are in the process of moving our cloud services back to our own private cloud. Your role will be to support us in the expansion and administration of the internal cloud infrastructure. You will help with the installation and commissioning of servers, as well as with setting up the various software layers, such as virtualisation, distribution and internal services.

The internship therefore offers a complete view of all components of a cloud.

At the end of the internship you will receive the “Cloud & Infrastructure Trainee” certificate and a confirmation of your internship.

Your profile


You are a communicative and structured person who enjoys working as part of a team. You are also able to work independently and take on smaller solo projects. When it comes to implementation, you are creative and think outside the box.

Key qualities for this role:


· You have some initial knowledge of network technology, ideally virtualization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
· You are pursuing a degree in computer science, business informatics, software development, technical computer science, communications engineering or a comparable course or training in at least the 4th semester
· You have an interest in new technologies and broad technological expertise
· You have strong analytical skills and systemic thinking
· You enjoy solving problems and developing optimization strategies
