We've all been there - you've just sat down to watch a movie when your phone starts ringing! Don't panic: Thanks to Timeshift your phonecall can be more important than your favorite show. With a simple click of the pause-button the current program is paused and stored by the software.

As soon as you want to continue watching, just hit the play-button. The time indicator will show the status of the recording as well as the position where you left off.

Never ever miss a second - thanks to the automatic Timeshift feature built-in to The Tube: As soon as you pick a TV channel, the timeshift buffer automatically starts to fill. The blue time display provides a handy overview of how much time you are able to rewind. While you're watching, you can see the timeshift buffer increase. To rewind a channel, just drag the time-display's cursor to the left.

The Tube 1.1 includes intelligent memory management, that can dynamically adjust the Timeshift-buffer capacity depending on available harddrive space. So there's no need to worry about how many GBs are left on your Mac for recordings - The Tube does it all for you. You can tweak how much space is used in The Tube's prefereces, but remember: The further left you position the slider, the less The Tube lets you rewind and record.
