1. Open System Settings: Click the Apple menu in the upper left of your screen and then on “System Settings”.
2. In the left sidebar, select Network.
3. Select Your Active Network. Choose either Wi-Fi or Ethernet, depending on what you’re using.
4. On the right side of your active connection, click the “Details…” button.
5. In the new window that appears, click on “Hardware”.
6. Change “Configure” to “Manually”.
7. Adjust the MTU Value: In the MTU field, enter 1300. You may need to select “Custom” first.
8. Click OK to apply the changes and save the setting.
9. Try to connect your VPN Tracker connection.
If the VPN connection succeeds, the MTU setting may no longer be necessary. You can revert it by repeating the steps above and setting the MTU back to “Automatic”.
