How do I remove the VPN Tracker System Extension?
VPN Tracker 365 needs a so-called System Extension to provide VPN services to macOS. The system places it in a directory with extended protection and you cannot delete it directly from this directory.
If you want to uninstall VPN Tracker 365 and its System Extension, just delete the app via Finder. Please do not use low-level means such as "rm", as macOS will not notice it needs to clean up the System Extension in this case. You may need to reboot your Mac to complete the uninstall.
If you removed VPN Tracker 365 using a method other than Finder, open Terminal.app and run the following command:
You need to confirm this command with your Mac user account password (there will be no visual feedback while typing). This marks the System Extension for deletion, reboot your Mac to complete the uninstall.
If your macOS version does not support the systemextensionsctl gc command yet, you need to re-install VPN Tracker 365, then delete it via Finder and reboot your Mac.
