Some customers may not understand the importance of Team Management and be reluctant to set up accounts for every team member. However, it’s important to highlight the security benefits of this approach. Here are the key points:

• With license keys, switching between Macs is a hassle and there is a lot of overhead required to manage keys and keep track of who has what.
  VPN Tracker 365 uses modern, account-based licensing that users are familiar with from other online services.

• Using shared logins and passwords is a security risk: For example, when an employee leaves the company, they may still have an access confidential information. With one account per user, admins can easily remove specific users and take advantage of additional features such as Remote Wipe.

• When every team member has their own account, a team administrator can easily manage the accounts using the Team Management web-interface. It is possible to assign licenses, change plans or remove users.

• With Team Management, when a colleague leaves the team, the admin can easily revoke their plans and remotely remove a VPN connection from their computer via “Remote Connection Wipe”. This can also be useful if a users loses a MacBook, to prevent any unauthorized VPN access without changing the connection for other team members.
