You can immediately watch a sample selection of channels when you install the Live TV IPTV Stream app. With a Live TV package you can test all features for 7 days for free.
With the Live TV Fernsehen IP TV app, you will get an immediate discount for a period of one month with the purchase of the app. Then, you can freely decide whether you want to extend the app via subscription (same cost as Live TV IPTV Stream).
The sound continues in the background, so that you can read the mails briefly while listening to the news. When you return to the Live TV app, you can see the image again. If you do not want this: try tapping the pause button to pause before pressing the home button.

You can also permanently disable this option. To do this, select "Play in background" from "Settings".

1. Check in which app the purchase was made

Please check in the first step in which app and on which platform you purchased the package. You can find the name of the app on the purchase receipt. Alternatively, you can also check in which app you purchased it by looking in the App Store settings under:
App Store > Highlights > at the very bottom on "Apple ID: xxx" > Show Apple ID > Subscriptions
A package should be selected and active here.

2. Open app and transfer product status to TV Pro ID

Please open the app in which you purchased the package in the next step.
  • Please perform the following steps:
    • 1. Open app
    • 2. Open the store in the menu
    • 3. Log in with your TV Pro ID or if you do not have a TV Pro ID yet, create a new TV Pro ID (free)
    • 4. Tap "Restore Purchases"
    Now your package has been saved in your TV Pro ID

    3. Restore package on another device or in another app

    To transfer your package to your second device or to another version, please follow these steps:
    • Open the corresponding app on the target device
    • As described above, go to the Store settings and log in here with your TV Pro ID
    • Tap "Restore Purchases"
    • Now your package should also appear here
TV stations determine the availability of their streams abroad. That is why we can not guarantee whether the corresponding station or show will be available abroad.

We installed a detector to help determine whether the show is available: a tablet next to the name of the program indicates this. Blue tablets mean that the stream is potentially receivable. Gray means that the stream is not receivable.

Every single day, our TIM algorithm searches these broadcasts across the entire TV channel in the German broadcaster Mediatheken, and the TV Pro editorial staff edits and curates these broadcasts, in order to present them clearly in an app: TV Pro Mediathek. Categorized by theme, updated hourly, with options such as download, browse, clips, and more.

From the theme collections of the TV Pro Mediathek, we also provide daily channels exclusively for the Live TV App. with 100% reportage. We propose a daily sequence of top channels in the form of a program schema. Here, our algorithm is able to select the top from the Mediatheken and high-quality media books at the main end time at 20:15.

If you bought a subscription for your iPhone, you can also run the subscription on your own iPad! As long as the devices are yours, there is no limitation on the number of devices that can run the subscription.

On all platforms, you can test the apps first. Each app runs independently. In-app purchases are purchased separately for each platform.

You will find all running subscriptions under "Subscriptions." You can also disable the automatic extension of your subscriptions.
There are two places in iOS to prohibit an app from using Mobile Data. 1. Turn off “Wi-Fi Assist”. This applies to all apps, not just TV Pro Mediathek. To turn it off: Homescreen > Settings > Cellular Then scroll all the way to the end and turn off “Wi-Fi Assist” there. 2. In addition, you can generally prohibit an app from using Mobile Data there.
"TV Pro Gold" applies to the "TV Pro" program guide apps for iPhone/iPad. There are separate in-app packages for the "Live TV" and "TV Pro Mediathek" apps, which can be purchased within the apps. "TV Pro Gold" does not unlock any features there.
If you do not want sorting by ratings, this can be deactivated via the header menu at the top left.

The sequence of the station can be set by drag and drop. Go to "Settings" > "Sender" and then arrange the sequence.

There, you can also hide the stations that do not interest you.

Please make sure that the "Silent switch" on the the iPhone is turned off.

We are also annoyed by this. Watching television and channel surfing and then having to watch a 20-second preroll ad: that’s a no-go. That's why we don't use any preroll ads in the TV Pro Live TV App!
Some (few) channels send a stream with subtitles in addition to the normal stream. To find these channels, simply enter the search term "Subtitles" in the search field at the beginning of the channel list. Tap or click on the corresponding channel. In the stream window, then select the corresponding stream of the channel. Earlier, you necessarily had to have an Apple TV or a Mac to use the popular AirPlay function. But since AirPlay 2, the “screen mirroring” feature can also be used via many modern Smart TVs. To connect your iPhone or iPad to your AirPlay 2-enabled Smart TV, you only need to follow these simple steps: 1. Make sure your iOS device and your Smart TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi 2. Tap the AirPlay symbol in the Live TV or TV Pro media library app and start streaming directly It may be necessary to first enable AirPlay in the settings of your television. You can find the AirPlay settings in the TV menu under Settings.
If you used two different Apple IDs for your app download and subscription purchase, the App Store gets confused and displays a cryptic error message – "Renewal failed". The solution:
  • Delete the currently installed app
  • Sign in under Settings > iTunes & App Store with the Apple ID you used to make your subscription
  • Now reinstall the app from the App Store
  • In the app, in the Store, select the option "Restore Purchases"
If, after purchasing a subscription in Live TV, few channels are still displayed, the purchase has been completed, but the evaluation of the purchase has failed. This is not a cause for concern. The following steps can resolve this issue:
  • Delete the Live TV app from the device. (Don't forget to empty the trash on Mac)
  • Open the AppStore and download the Live TV app again from the AppStore
Then start Live TV. All channels should now appear.
Assuming a program is running on Friday night at 0:05 AM. In the TV Pro Apps, however, this program appears in the listing on Thursday at 0:05 AM. Why is that? For the TV day, it is assumed that the TV day starts at 5 AM and lasts until 4:59 AM the next day. Two reasons: - If you look in the listing for what’s running on Thursday evening, say from 11 PM, you also want to see the programs that start at 0:05 AM. You "think" it’s still "Thursday evening". Therefore, programs after midnight are also counted as Thursday. - It is based on the "wake cycle", i.e. until you go to bed (hopefully before 5 AM!) programs are counted to the day you got up, i.e. are awake. A program at 2 AM is therefore still counted to the mentioned Thursday and not (calendarically correct) to Friday. Friday contains all programs until Saturday morning at 4:59 AM. From 5 AM the new TV day then starts.

Wenn AirPlay in TV Pro oder Live TV nicht mehr wie gewohnt funktioniert, können folgende Schritte helfen, das Problem zu beheben:

  5. iOS/macOS aktualisieren: Auch dein Betriebssystem sollte auf dem neuesten Stand sein, da AirPlay-Änderungen oft über Systemupdates kommen.
  6. Neuverbindung herstellen: Beende die App komplett und starte sie neu. Versuche dann erneut, die AirPlay-Verbindung herzustellen.
  7. AirPlay-Einstellungen prüfen: Überprüfe die AirPlay- und Datenschutz-Einstellungen auf deinem Gerät und deinem Apple TV.

After a long run, we retired iSale a while ago.

We made this decision as eBay has shifted its focus to large commercial sellers with thousands of listings. iSale is no longer supported by newer macOS versions and we encourage you to move your existing and future listings directly to eBay's own tools.

eBay now requires all listings to exclusively use HTTPS for content. Auctions using iSale templates do not support HTTPS image links, so it is recommended you re-list your items using eBay's own selling tools.

In March 2018, iSale auction template images from will no longer be available so we encourage all sellers to revise existing listings accordingly.

If you have a charge from equinux on your credit card that you do not recognize, it may be for one of the following products offered through the equinux Online Store:

Common scenarios

Auto-renewing products

VPN Tracker and Mail Designer 365 are offered as subscriptions. When a plan has been configured to auto-renew, the associated payment method will automatically be charged.

Additional team-members added

If multiple employees are using one of our products, they may have configured team billing. This means the associated credit card may have been charged, in order to add a new team member to an account.

If you have checked with your team and still have additional questions regarding a charge, please contact our support team. Be sure to include the details from your credit card statement and the last 4 digits of your card.

Not to worry. There are a few reasons why this can happen but rest assured we will always get you up and running - sooner, rather than later!

The most common cause behind this is that you have multiple equinux IDs and you have tried to activate the software again using your equinux ID that doesn’t actually have the license registered to it. So when it says: ‘registered to another user’ - it actually means YOU! The software just doesn’t know you’ve got 2 accounts.

So obviously the best way to sort this out is to use your equinux ID that does have the license registered to it and then you’ll be ready to go.
If you have nothing on your other account it would be great if you could send us a quick email explaining that you have 2 IDs and we can delete the one you don’t need.
If you would also like to have everything on one account and have us delete the spare you can transfer your licenses from one account to the other. Just click the link to find out how.

Sure that’s not the reason?

Then all you need to do is drop us an email stating your equinux ID and the Activation Code you were trying to use, along with some proof of purchase. A scanned receipt or confirmation email will do just fine. Then we can have a look at everything and sort your account out so that you can get on with using the software you bought!

Unfortunately we currently can't purchase orders as your method of payment, sorry!

However, if you would like to pay by check, our online store does have the option of including a purchase order number on your invoice.

Select ‘Check’ as your payment method and then scroll down to the field ‘Purchase Order’. Enter the P.O. number you would like to appear on your invoice and then proceed to payment. You will receive an email containing further information on who to make the check out to. The license will be issued to you once your payment is recieved.

Please be aware that by deactivating automatic renewals you will lose pricing benefits. We offer every customer a no-strings-attached trial period of Mail Designer 365 before purchase. The trial can be downloaded free of charge from our website. This allows users to test the vast range of features and tools included in a full plan before making any financial commitments to the software. For this reason, we cannot offer refunds once a plan has been purchased. This information is also clearly stated in the terms & conditions which must be accepted before completing the checkout process.

Plans that are set to auto-renew may keep pricing benefits ("grandfathered pricing"). To renew your expired VPN Tracker plan, please follow these steps:
  • Log in to your account at my.vpntracker.com
  • In the Teams view under "Subscriptions", you will see a list of both your active and your expired plans
  • To renew an expired plan, please click on: “Reactivate license
  • You will then be shown your available plan options

  • Grandfathering pricing is exclusively available for customers using the automatic renewal option. If your plan has expired, you can re-obtain VPN Tracker for the current price tier
  • After starting your new plan, you will regain full access to your account including your Personal Safe and Team Management features.
To add additional licenses for your team, please follow these steps:

  • Select the plans you would like to combine by clicking on the checkbox on the left side next to each plan
  • Once you have selected all plans, click Combine Subscriptions at the bottom of the window

The possibility of grandfathering pricing is exclusively available for customers using the automatic renewal option. In cases where your plan cannot be renewed due to a problem with the payment method (i.e. expired, lost or stolen), the plan will be canceled after a few tries. You are then free to re-obtain your plan at any time you wish for the then current price tier. In order to profit from your existing price, please ensure you update your payment method prior to the renewal date.
